Music as Communication: Mike Hanson at TEDxTeddington

Originally from Canada, Mike has been in broadcasting and music for over 30 years on both sides of the Atlantic. Assistant Editor of BBC Radio 6 Music, he is also lead guitarist in Kingston blues band, Bourbon Street Revival. More importantly, he is the proud father of Teddington student and previous TedxTeddington speaker, Talor Hanson. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
