Sweetcorn suckers / tillers - why I don't remove them
In this video I talk about suckers or tillers - the side shoots that develop from the base of sweetcorn plants - what they are, and what their appearance signifies. It is fairly common practice to remove them, but here I give some of the reasons why I think it may be better to leave them alone.
