In this video, I'll talk about portrait retouching in Lightroom Classic and show the possibilities of techniques and tools that Lightroom offers today for editing a portrait. With the new Artificial Intelligence technologies introduced in Lightroom, whether in the form of generative removal or masks, in some cases the portrait retouching possibilities in Lightroom will be more than sufficient, avoiding the need to use Photoshop for this purpose. I start by making basic tonal adjustments, then I use the Remove tool, with artificial intelligence activated, to remove stray hairs. Then, still in the Remove tool, and alternating between using AI-powered generative removal and content-aware mode, I clean the skin, taking care to maintain its natural texture. Next, I start using AI masks to select and isolate areas on the skin, with the goal of working on each part separately.
