A Stunning Leez Priory Wedding | Hannah & Ben’s Elegant Spring Celebration

Welcome to the beautiful wedding of Hannah and Ben, filmed at the incredible Leez Priory in Essex. This historic Tudor mansion set in 40 acres of parkland was the perfect backdrop for their relaxed, elegant day. Filmed on May 1st, the weather was absolutely stunning with clear blue skies and the kind of soft breeze every outdoor ceremony dreams of. The Day From the start, there was a calm and happy energy in the air. Hannah got ready in the bridal suite while the two mums and friends who watched on, glasses of fizz flowed with lots of laughter. The moment Hannah stepped in her dress the Mum's beamed with happiness. Meanwhile, Ben and his friends walked the grounds, looking sharp and soaking up the sunshine. Before the ceremony, Hannah and Ben shared a private first look in the drawing room. It was a really touching moment and gave them a bit of space together before the day picked up pace. First looks aren’t too common in the UK, but they’re always worth it when a couple wants that moment of calm before the ceremony. The Ceremony and Drinks Reception Their ceremony took place outside, beneath the Leez Priory tower, surrounded by friends, family and birdsong. Afterwards, they walked through a shower of confetti and led their guests into a relaxed drinks reception on the lawn. Guests played garden games, chatted in the sun and explored the beautiful grounds. Couple Shoot and Evening Later in the afternoon we went for a walk with the couple to film their portrait session. I worked alongside Knotflix Photo and Films who were fantastic to shoot with. They use headsets and lighting kits which makes everything seamless. We captured some of the best bride and groom footage I’ve ever shot, with golden light pouring through the trees and the red brick of the venue glowing in the background. Before heading inside for their evening reception, Hannah and Ben celebrated with a champagne spray moment which was great fun and looked amazing on camera. Their first dance was full of love, surrounded by their people, and the room had a really lovely energy as the music kicked in and the dancing got going. This film is a celebration of their relationship, their families and the joy of a properly good wedding day. I loved putting it together.
