Birds of Prey (1973)
This is a 20min edited version of Birds of Prey to show off the helicopter sequences with the Hughes 500 and Lama. This is some of the best helicopter shots on film especially the standoff in the valley and the abandoned airport. The shots inside in the old hangar are truly amazing. My hats off the the two pilots. James W. Gavin (1935-2005), an amazing pilot, was the films aerial supervisor but the credits don't say who the pilots were. Also amazing is that this was a "made-for-tv" movie in 1973, I remember seeing it then and got hooked on helicopters. Thanks to Tomorrow Entertainment for producing a great helicopter film.
