SPOTIFY : https://spoti.fi/3bgp699 "Face of Melinda" from Opeth's "Still Life" album (1999). Yet another Opeth remake! I know that a lot of people wanted me to either reupload my previous cover of Face of Melinda, or do a remake. I think a remake with an actual fretless bass was more fitting. However, I sound a little bit out of tune at times eventhough my bass is perfectly in tune. Mendez had some sort of flanger effect on his fretless at the time so it sounds a bit off at times. Also at 0:57 and 2:13 I make the mistake of adding an extra note (5th fret on the A string) while the tab doesn't show it. Not a horrible mistake as it still fits, but it's up to you what you want to follow. Some important information that nobody is going to read. Tuning : E-A-D-G Artist : Opeth Bassist : Martin Mendez Album : Still Life (1999) Song : FACE OF MELINDA Bass : Ibanez SRF705-BBF
