Photobiomodulation for the Treatment of Neurological Disorders – Anita Saltmarche @Synchrony2020

An overview and demonstration of various photobiomodulation devices used for treating neurological conditions, including autism spectrum disorder. Photobiomodulation describes the use of visible red and infrared light energy to stimulate, heal, regenerate, and protect cells that have experienced injury or degeneration or at risk of dying. There is a 50-year history of demonstrated effectiveness in treating wounds and a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Over the past decade, research and clinical evidence are now illuminating the positive benefits of applying photobiomodulation to the head to treat neurological disorders.
