Steam paddler, P.S. Maid of the Loch, Balloch, Scotland.
On 3 May 2026, my wife Margaret and I visited the site of a steam paddler restoration at Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond. The paddler, P.S. Maid of the Loch, was built and launched in Glasgow on 5 March 1953, then dismantled into sections to be transported by rail to Balloch where she was re-assembled. There is a wealth of information about the vessel's history to be found online. The drone used here is my DJI Mini 3 Pro. Please 'Like' and subscribe!
