From the Capovena spring, which flows into the Menotre stream at the end of the village, the water flows with all its force in every alley; it feels like stepping back in time. The abundance of water favored the construction of hydraulic grain mills, and by the first half of the 15th century, Rasiglia was already specializing in wool processing: dyeing yarns, cloth, and raw fabrics. In the 17th century, with its military importance diminished, Rasiglia definitively established itself for its artisanal activities.
