Vietnam travel costs in 2026: we spent 29 days travelling across Vietnam as a couple and tracked almost everything we spent. Our final Vietnam-only total was €2,343 / around $2,720 for two people. This budget includes private rooms, local food, sleeper buses, one domestic flight, scooter rentals, activities, shopping, insurance, visas, SIM cards, laundry, and bank fees. Without shopping, our Vietnam trip worked out to around €35–36 per person per day.
