Serious complaints led the Consumer Patrol to a supermarket in Guarulhos. The team accompanied a blitz inspection alongside the Procon (Consumer Protection Agency), following numerous customer complaints. At the location, they found spoiled products, dirt, bad smells, lack of hygiene, and expired food. During the inspection, they also identified meats stored improperly, without any identification, in addition to the presence of insects among the products.
