Cold Water Giants on the Great Lakes

In this video, I am fishing in Milwaukee on Lake Michigan with my good buddy Eric Haataja for a fish that I've been searching for my entire life, a deep cold water Lake Trout! Once we got to the Lake Trout fishing spot, Eric threw the first cast, and within 10 seconds, he was hooked up to the first lake trout of the day. Eric continued to dominate the fishing competition between us, catch the second and third lake trout back to back. I started getting frustrated; nothing was working for me. Eric let me use his lucky fishing rod, and after throwing a few casts, I was hooked up! I finally caught my first ever lake trout! After releasing my first lake trout, I switched my bait to a soft plastic and hooked a giant! I fought this monster fish for 10 minutes before we could safely catch it in the net.
