Drawing a cute cartoon Indominus Rex. This video was attempting to be a tutorial, but evolved into a lesson on artist frustration in trying to make it work, and accepting that it sometimes takes several goes. I was tempted to edit and re-narrate this video into a clean concise tutorial, but thought it would be interesting to show some of the trials and frustrations that may artists go through when trying to make something work. This is a LOOOONG video and I will be releasing a short time lapse as well, but if you're interested in watching and listening through the thought processes, and problem solving of art, you might find this video interesting. The hands alone I attempted to draw multiple times. So while I try to show you how to draw a cute dinosaur, what you'll learn above all, is that it isn't always easy, and it doesn't always work the first time, even for us more seasoned illustrators :) No one is perfect and we all make mistakes and we're all constantly learning and re-eavluating things.
