Her interest in kimono dressing began after she was dressed in a furisode kimono for her high school graduation ceremony. She studied kimono dressing at a beauty school and won two kimono dressing contests. She then became a hairdresser and placed second in the furisode category of an in-house contest in her first year. After retiring, she worked as a kimono dresser, dressing celebrities for TV commercials and other uses. At the age of 24, she opened a kimono dressing class. In March 2019, she held a kimono show in Vietnam and received letters of appreciation from Dong A University and the Da Nang Foreign Affairs Bureau. In June 2019, she held the first online kimono dressing class. In July 2020, she registered the trademark "Slender Kimono Dressing®︎." In the same month, she received a "New Personal Color" certification. In October 2020, she obtained the "Face Type Kimono Advisor" certification. In April 2021, she founded the "Japan Slender Kimono Dressing Association." November 2022: Launched the apparel brand "ni yori." December 2023: Started producing to further Japanese culture. May 2024: Obtained a patent for ni yori's product "EMON Coat." October 2024: Released the IWASA x SAKI collaborative zori sandals. February 2025: Spoke at a seminar hosted by KADOKAWA.
