Meanwhile, Tobirama Senju and Sasuke Uchiha try to stop Madara, but are easily defeated. Madara subdues Sasuke and leaves him gravely wounded, on the verge of death. Naruto and Sasuke, the two pillars of the resistance, fall almost simultaneously, leaving the Alliance in despair. Minato begins the process of transferring Kurama into Naruto, racing against time to avoid his death. At this critical moment, Kabuto Yakushi, Orochimaru's former subordinate, unexpectedly appears. Using enhanced medical skills powered by Hashirama Senju's implanted cells, Kabuto begins treating Sasuke's fatal wounds. Orochimaru watches in surprise as Kabuto genuinely strives to save Sasuke's life. With all the Tailed Beasts under his control and his Rinnegan fully recovered, Madara finally becomes the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki, awakening his own Rikudō Mode. His power reaches a godlike level. Faced with the overwhelming power of the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki, Guy decides to release the Eight Inner Gates, culminating in the opening of the Hachimon Tonkō no Jinmon, the Gate of Death. Enveloped in an intense red aura, Guy unleashes a power capable of distorting the space around him, leaving even Madara Uchiha impressed by his strength.
