Hello everyone! 👋 In this episode, I decided to share my experience of solving a geometric problem known to almost every 3D jeweler - we are talking about the shape of the legendary Trinity ring by Cartier - yes, those same three intertwined rings! For some reason, I was always scared even by the thought of ever having to model such a ring, but, as it turned out, the principle of solving this problem is not even simple, but rather primitive, as you will see in the fourth minute of the video. And for those who like it more complicated, I have prepared a more detailed material touching on working with mobile construction planes in Rhino, which, when applied in the context under consideration, can significantly simplify the process of finalizing the created object by eliminating incorrect positioning of the manipulators.
