Zelda is involuntarily transported to the past. Far into the past. She arrives in a time when the kingdom of Hyrule was just being founded. Rauru and Sonja, the royal couple, find the bewildered Zelda and offer her shelter. It quickly becomes apparent that the kingdom is struggling with problems. The so-called Plague repeatedly plagues the realm in various locations, infecting innocent citizens. Rauru and Sonja travel across their land and banish the Plague. But that's not the only problem. In the Gerudo Desert lives a man who desperately wants to seize power from the kingdom and the secret power of the Sonja. He repeatedly tries to become the master of power, and when he finally succeeds, he plunges the kingdom into chaos, and a bitter war begins. Zelda, Rauru, and their army of allies try to overcome Ganondorf's power and reclaim the kingdom. Will they succeed? There are several playable characters. Among others, Zelda, Rauru, Mineru, a construct and many others from Gerudo to Zoras, from Rito to the Gorons.
