How to Read Research Papers Effectively - Guide for PhD Students & Researchers

Reading research papers is one of the most important skills for students, researchers, and academics. Yet, many of us struggle with where to start, what to focus on, and how to extract meaningful insights from a paper. In this video, I share a practical framework for finding, reading, critically evaluating, summarising, and managing research papers more effectively. I hope these strategies will help you navigate the scientific literature efficiently. Thanks to my supervisor, Prof. Vishwesha Guttal, for initiating discussions on reading research papers, and to my labmates Vivek, Arshed, Utsav, Aakriti, Keshav, Taha, and Anupam for their valuable feedback.
