Mystery Engine Overheating Issue SOLVED - Jeep/Dodge 4.7L
The 4.7L V8 is not the kind of engine you want to let run hot. Ordinary operating temperature once the vehicle has warmed up should be around 197 degrees F and 210 degrees F. Recently the 4.7L in my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee was experiencing engine coolant tempuratures of 212-215 degree F under normal driving conditions. It should be noted that this is not quite "overheating", but it is as hot as you can get before you are over heating. Well it took about 2 months to fully diagnose the issue, but I was finally about to get my cooling system operating as it should. In this video I will walk you through all the steps I took to diagnose and eventually solve my issue. Want to support D&E? D&E Stickers on ETSY: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DandEintheg...
