Hitchhiking on a Sailboat to Perfect Waves in Indonesia

🌊 What started as a normal surf session turned into one of our favourite days in Indonesia. After meeting a group of surfers while exploring the Telos Islands, we invited them aboard Stella, our 39-foot sailboat, for a day chasing remote waves that can only be reached by boat. With surfboards loaded, sails raised, and the handline out hoping to catch dinner, we set off in search of perfect lefts, rights, and a full day of adventure. From sharing life aboard our floating home to surfing crystal-clear tropical waves, fishing, cooking lunch at anchor, and ending the day with an unforgettable Indonesian sunset, this is exactly why we chose life at sea.
