Explored the unique architecture of the Noborotno Mondir, Ponchorotno Shiv Mandir, and the Jora Deul. Inchura Kalibari: Visited this famous local Kali temple. Simlagarh's Notorious Kali Bari: Our final stop was the ancient Simlagarh Kalibari, also known as Bise Dakater Kali Bari. This over 500-year-old temple has fascinating, eerie tales of notorious dacoits like bishe Dacoit who worshipped here, and a history where human sacrifices were once practiced before being replaced by goat sacrifices. The idol here is made of stone, not clay.
