Ferata Pot Mojstraniških veveric (rdeča) / Mojstrana / 2024

There are two via ferratas above Mojstrana on the slope of Grančišče. The Ferata Aljaževa route is easier and marked with blue ribbons, while the Pot Mojstraniških veveric route is more difficult and marked with red ribbons. Namely, the paths are constantly intertwined, so that we can pass from one to the other. Perhaps the most interesting part of the via ferrata is the ladder in the first third. The route is secured in a more French style, which means that the cables are not too tight, but mostly looser. Both via ferratas lead to the top of the scenic Grančišče, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of the nearby Julian Alps and Karavanke. Do not attempt via ferrata without proper equipment, knowledge and experience.
