Axiom RV worth the money? - Not just yet...
Second Inspection on an Axiom RV — Better, But Still Not There. This video covers my second inspection report on an Axiom RV unit, a relatively new RV manufacturer that has positioned itself as different from the rest of the industry. Some have questioned why I'm setting the bar so high for this manufacture, but Axiom set that standard. I was told Axiom was "built for more" - but I didn't see the "more". I was asked by buyers (my clients), as well as my followers to look into these claims and I did just that. To be clear up front: -This inspection went better than the first, it was clear improvements were made. -I'm not saying they aren't a decent RV, just not currently at the price they want. -they are still very new, and listening to feedback and improving each unit -this is current findings from very early units (first 10). Axiom has publicly stated that they are improving and doing things differently moving forward. I’m open to that, and I’m fair when it comes to manufacturers, but based on what I’m seeing right now, on the two units I've inspected,, I didn't see enough separation from the industry norms to justify the claims. It's not a "garbage" RV, hell it's not even close to the worst I've inspected recently. Many of the problems or quality standards I found during this inspection are things you’d expect to see on a $60,000 RV - This unit has an MSRP close to $200,000. At that price point, “normal RV issues” stop being normal and start becoming unacceptable. I would be just as hard on Brinkley, and I have, because they make similar claims and price their RV's higher than others. While some of the findings may seem small or “silly” on their own, they paint a much larger picture. Consistent minor issues across easily accessible areas raise serious questions about: • Work ethic • Assembly standards • Quality control • Build practices as a whole And the question that always matters most: If this many issues are visible in areas anyone can see… what does it look like in the areas we can’t? Why This Matters for Buyers Axiom is still a new manufacturer. That means: • There is no long-term reliability history • Early units set the tone for brand trust • First impressions matter a lot. Claiming to be different while delivering results that still mirror industry-wide problems is not a good look, especially at this price tier. That said — time matters. They’re new. Things can improve. And if they do, I’ll be the first person to tell you. I don’t pick sides, I report what I see. This video isn’t about hype or hate. It’s about holding manufacturers accountable, especially when buyers are being asked to spend serious money. I’m a working RV technician performing real-world inspections focused on safety, reliability, and long-term ownership realities, not sales narratives.
