HAIR MAKEOVER! GOLDEN DREAM CHRISTIE REPRODUCTION! GOLDEN DREAM BARBIE COMPARISON!

When this doll was first announced I was SO excited! She was the one I voted for, and wanted the most! But for a while, she kinda faded into existence and was never really mentioned again. Till a few weeks ago! I personally thought they gave up on the project, so imagine my surprise when we actually got to see the doll! Now she’s not a bad reproduction. She has the new more accurate body, which is so important. However, there’s a few inconsistencies I’ve found from many of those who purchased her. Like random scratches on the body, wonky eyes, and in my dolls case, wacky hair. If anyone is familiar with my channel, we know I’m no stranger when it comes to Mattel and their hair styling as of recent. And Christie unfortunately falls in the same category of they tried. But fortunately, I can do better! And after I messed with her hair a bit I do have to say I love her way better! She went from being a disappointment, to being a doll who I love. Is she a perfect representation of a golden dream Barbie/Christie? No. But she is a nostalgic glimpse into the past of what makes being a Barbie collector so much fun.
