He studied with Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Holland, Cecil McBee, John Lockwood, Jason Moran, Mehmet Sanlikol, Jerry Leake, among others. As a member of the NEC Jazz Orchestra, he has performed with Antonio Sanchez, Ran Blake, Alan Pasqua, George Schuller, Dan Tepfer, Luciana Souza, Cécile McLorin Salvant, among others. Domenico holds a bachelor's degree in Brazilian Music Studies from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Unirio), Brazil.
