What are Chinese New Year Decorations? | Where do I put the FAI CHUN, & CHINESE LANTERN? | Why RED?

Chinese New Year Series - Today we are learning about how to decorate your house for Chinese New Year. The most important decorations are the Candy Box, Flowers and Plants, and finally the Fai Chuns. What are Chinese Fai Chuns and where do we put them? Fai Chuns are pieces are red paper with lucky Chinese New Year sayings and we hang Fai Chuns all over the house during Lunar New Year. Fai Chuns are definitely one of the most important and popular Chinese New Year decorations that people purchase every year. We head over to the famous Toy Street on Fuk Wing Street in Sham Shui Po so you can see what decorations there are available for Chinese New Year, and how do you hang them up!
