Herbrand Ratchet Restoration. Saved from a Rust Bucket!

I found these two Herbrand ratchets a few weeks back at an estate sale. Both are from the same era, but not exactly alike. I’m guessing 40’s to mid-50’s? One looked pretty good, the other not so much. I did the best I could to clean them up and give them a shine. Both are in perfect working order now. Had a little fun with the paint. I really enjoy bringing these vintage tools back to life. Not that I will use these, but I can. Now they are preserved for the next generation.
