Berry Brow Station Re-Opening Ceremony 1989
In October 1989 Berry Brow Station was re-opened on a slightly different site to the previous station that closed in 1966. During his speech the Councillor makes the false claim that the first train failed to stop ... I was the only passenger to alight from that first train and a photo of me appeared in a national journal ... I was also a passenger on the second train to call and that is seen in this video.
