For one, I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan, and this was the first song that I ever sang live. It's also a song that's brought me comfort when I've experienced loss and grief. I sang it to myself at the beach this year in October when I found out about two lovely friends that had passed, and so I decided to record it and share it with whoever needs to hear it. I didn't plan to release this on New Year's Eve but it does seem kind of fitting. Let's make 2021 a good year and let's remember and honour those we lost.
