Fleet Town Residents Update 2021

Back in March 2020, we had to cancel our Annual Residents’ Meeting due to the pandemic. Sadly, that stopped us from seeing you in person to give our usual update and answer your questions. We decided that, instead, while the COVID-19 restrictions are still in place a more innovative approach was required to enable us to reach a broader audience and engage with an even wider section of the Fleet Community. ……….. and on the 25th May our first ever online Fleet Town Residents Update went live! The Update covers the changes that this last year has brought – and, as we all know, there have been plenty! Firstly; the impact that COVID-19 has had on all our lives, secondly; the changes that we will be going through as we recover from the pandemic and, thirdly; the impact of new development on our neighbourhood, community and town. Q&A SESSION Following on from this video presentation a live Zoom Question & Answer Session will be held on Thursday 10 June to be hosted by a panel of Councillors who will be available to answer any of your questions you would like to raise as a consequence of the video. HOW TO JOIN The session will be held 7 - 8.30pm on Thursday 10th June hosted via Zoom. Upon clicking the link you will be sent into a virtual waiting room - you will be admitted into the meeting by a host when the meeting is due to start. Terms & Conditions This meeting is for Fleet Town Resident’s i.e. those that pay Council Tax to Fleet Town Council All questions will be welcome but we will prioritise those from Fleet Town Residents – you will therefore be asked to give the first 5 digits of your post code e.g. GU51 4 to confirm residency within Fleet Town.
