Texel (4k) Going to Texel FERRY BOAT from DEN HELDER to Texel

In this video we will take the ferry to a popular holiday destination .. the Dutch island of Texel. During summer time this island is full of visitors,both locals and foreign. Texel is a favorite destination formany visitors, mainly from Germany. We start in the port of Den Helder, enter the boat by car and go up to the visitors deck. There we take a short walk and show the interior of this brand new ship. When arriving in Texel, we drive to "De Koog". Most tourist stay here to shop, eat and visit the nearby beach. We take a walk through the (rainy) shopping street. After that, we go back to our car and drive to "De Cocksdorp", (please check out our other video) and climb the dune to the lighthouse. Finally, we go back to the boat, take another glimpse of the interior and go back to the port of Den Helder. This video has been made during the recent Covid-19 outbreak. Most visitors have left the island. Only few tourists remain. In normal days it would be full of tourists everywhere ! The most remarkable part of the video is at the end .. ... the empty ferry boat.
