Very Large BNSF Pasadena Local on the MWD Spur & Pasadena Subdivision 6/6/2024

Today on the Pasadena Subdivision I got in a very long chase of the Pasadena Roadswitcher from Claremont all the way to Irwindale, plus a chase up the MWD spur on it's monthly trip up to the water treatment plant. Starting off my chase in Claremont, the train headed west with 1 tank for Q&B Foods, 1 tank for the Weymouth Water Treatment Plant, 1 tank car and 8 hoppers for the Pabst Brewery, and 10 boxcars for WSI, for a total of 21 cars for the Pasadena Subdivision. The first and second catches were in Claremont, with the second being the train departing CP Cambridge upon getting clearance from the Foothill Gold Line Construction Authority to enter the line. I then caught up with the train in Pomona where the train was pulling onto the Pomona siding to drop off the boxcars. I then headed to the other side of town to see it departing after dropping the boxcars. I then caught the train on the mainline in La Verne, before catching it on the MWD spur as it shoved up the line after dropping off some of the Irwindale cars to make the trip up the spur easier. I was able to get a second catch of the train shoving up the spur as it crested over the hill into the plant. I then set up further down the line for the train's descent, catching it two more times before it backed into the cars it set out on the mainline just west of the spur. The train had exchanged one loaded tank for one empty from the plant. After I caught it departing La Verne on the mainline, I caught it in San Dimas at a pedestrian crossing. I then moved on to Glendora where I caught the train 3 more times, before setting up in Irwindale for my last westbound catch. I then set up in Azusa for the train's return east after switching the Irwindale industries. The train came back very short, with only one empty tank car from Q&B returning from Irwindale plus the empty from the water plant. After two more catches in Glendora I hung up the chase.
