Miss Cartwright is hired to be the new governess to young Pamela. Cartwright immediately dismisses Pamela's beloved nanny, Mrs. Murphy, and finds a punishment room for the child in the basement. Pamela's favorite toy is a stuffed tiger, which becomes the focus of Pamela's revenge against the dictatorial governess.
