The episode “Saci Pererê” tells the story of the adventures and mischief of the legendary character from Brazilian folklore. Saci, known for his cleverness and pranks, lives in the forest, where he protects nature and plays tricks on the unsuspecting. His mocking laughter and agility make him nearly impossible to catch. The episode shows how he disrupts hunters and woodcutters, confusing their paths and sabotaging their tools. Despite his mischievous spirit, Saci isalso a guardian of the forest, respected by those who understand his connection to nature. The story draws on elements from Indigenous and African traditions, illustrating how the character became a cultural icon, immortalized in the literature of Monteiro Lobato.
