There were two things I wanted to do once I got my AKATSUKI. One of them was to get it coated. I'd thought about doing it a few times before, but I never got around to it, and now I've only got four campervans. So this time, I decided to do it, and on the 10th day after I got my AKATSUKI, I traveled from Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, to Satte City, Saitama Prefecture to get the coating done. I thought I'd left early in the morning with plenty of time, but an unexpected accident on the Ken-O Expressway caused traffic jams. I was about 30 minutes late. I wish I'd stayed the night before. Apparently, I could use the parking lot, toilets, and power outlets the night before. I've decided to stay the night before next time. They also offered a loaner car, so I took a relaxing bath at the nearby day spa, Gagaku-no-Yu. After a thorough car wash, they applied a photocatalytic coating, leaving it sparkling clean.
