Tifton 85 Costal Bermuda - 2nd Hay Cutting

The second hay cutting after planting Tifton 85 Bermudagrass sprigs one year ago in July increased from almost 3 bales per acre to 4 bales per acre. Following the initial sprigging, bare spots required additional attention, as well as weed management and optimal timing for fertilizing before cutting.
