A fatal traffic accident occurred in Gongliao, New Taipei City, around noon today (24th). An SUV was making a left turn into the parking lot of a seafood restaurant when it apparently failed to notice an oncoming motorcycle traveling straight, resulting in a head-on collision. The motorcyclist showed no vital signs at the scene and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The 75-year-old driver was even filmed calmly searching through the trunk after the accident, seemingly preparing to take his family into the restaurant.
