Instantaneous current is the amount of charge passing through a conductor at a moment of time. Average current is the total amount of charge passing through a conductor in a time interval. Ohm’s law states that the voltage across a conductor is directly proportional to the current flowing through it, provided all physical conditions and temperatures remain constant.
