Bundesstraße 236: Dortmund

Bundesstraße 236 in Germany, driving through Dortmund. It's like a Stadtautobahn (urban motorway). It was planned as Autobahn A441 going from Schwerte (instead a junction it would be a interchange with Autobahn A1) to Lünen (as a bypass). From 2020 till April 2023, the section from A1 exit to the Dortmund city limits got widened with 2 lanes each direction due to congestion (up to 31000 vehicles/day) and ensuring better traffic flow.
