Audi F103 auf der IAA 1965

In a report by Hessian Broadcasting (Hessischer Rundfunk) on the 1965 International Motor Show, the Audi F103, successor to the DKW F102, is presented. The car is introduced by Audi's Managing Technical Director, Ludwig Kraus. The Audi F103 was a sedan with a four-cylinder, four-stroke engine originally developed by Mercedes for military purposes and front-wheel drive. Auto Union GmbH, newly founded at the end of 1949, launched its first model bearing the traditional Audi name after World War II in the summer of 1965. The station wagon, the Audi Variant, was also available from the spring of 1966. According to factory specifications, the Audi F103 accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 14.8 seconds.
