Nordic Sitting Atemübung mit Stöcken

Nordic Sitting – Breathing Therapy & Mobilization with Poles (Exercises While Seated) Breathe better and stay mobile – all *without long walks*! 🦯 In this participatory video*, Ms. Binser from the Allgäu Specialist Clinic shows you how to use *Nordic walking poles in a completely new way: for effective Nordic Sitting. This series of seated exercises is ideal *for people with respiratory conditions or limited mobility*. We don't use the poles for locomotion, but as training tools to mobilize the rib cage, strengthen the respiratory muscles, and improve upper body endurance. Here's what you can expect in this training: Breathing Therapy: Becoming aware of your breathing at rest and during exertion. Mobilization: Targeted stretching and opening of the rib cage for increased lung capacity. Interval Training: Upper body endurance training to strengthen the muscles. Balance: Functional exercises performed while standing (using the poles for secure support). Everyday tips: How the correct breathing technique (pursed-lip breathing) can help you when tying your shoes or picking up objects. What you need: Two Nordic walking poles (ideally held at shoulder height). A stable stool or chair (without armrests). Optionally, rubber tips for the poles for indoor use. A more detailed explanation of what Nordic Sitting is and what to keep in mind can be found here:    • Nordic Sitting: Effektives Training im Sit...   Important note: Maintain an upright posture and breathe freely throughout all exercises. Use the poles to relieve the weight on your arms and relax your shoulders.
