Kermisattracties in Lutjebroek van miniatuurbouwers Kermisexpo - Sander Op Pad in West-Friesland

The oliebollen (Dutch doughnuts) and popcorn are life-sized; otherwise, it is merely miniature models. This weekend, De Wurf in Lutjebroek is filled with carousels, haunted houses, and booster rides at the Kermisexpo. Model builders with a passion for fairs are coming to West-Friesland from all over the country to showcase their homemade attractions. Reporter Sander Huisman went to check out the show, which can also be seen tomorrow at De Wurf. There are models several decades old, but also attractions that were completed just a month ago. There is something for everyone to see in Lutjebroek during the Kermisexpo. The older models rotate at the push of a button, while the newer ones are fully programmed with elaborate circuit boards and LED light shows. It is the third time the Kermisexpo is being held in Lutjebroek. Following the success of previous editions, which were held for the first time 5 years ago, it is packed again in Lutjebroek after a 2-year silence. In the south of the Netherlands, such mini-versions of fairs are organized more frequently. As part of a model building event, but also as part of a real fair. For the time being, the miniature fair of Lutjebroek stands on its own, without taking place during a fair weekend.
