Meet-a-Pro: Karen Jordan, Veterinarian

Meet-a-Pro is a collaboration between the Montgomery County Career Advising Program and Magruder High School to host discussions with professionals in different fields, bringing information about career options to high school students. Dr. Jordan attended Tuskegee University, an HBCU in Alabama, and has a practice in a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. As a Black female doctor who is also part of the LGBTQIA+ community, Dr. Jordan provides an unusual combination of representation for many students who may not have thought of veterinary medicine as a possible career option. Dr. Jordan incorporates a lot of holistic medicine approaches to her practice as well.
