At the heart is an analog fuzz with massive gain and octave up baked in. Unlike vintage designs such as the Univox Superfuzz, you’re not stuck with two extreme tone choices, the Texture knob blends seamlessly between scooped to a snarling midboost, letting you find your own sweet spot. Plus, there’s helpful tweaking with a 3-way Color switch to adjust the high end and a Clip switch for either classic germanium compression, a hybrid with silicon or a loud and less compressed offering in the middle. Heading over to the left side is a completely independent Filter section, which is designed to enhance the fuzz or be played on its own. The simple speed and volume allow watery wah, slow churning sweeps and step filtering, thanks to more toggle switches below. Expression input allows a pedal to control the rate, but there's also a Manual mode that gives you wah effects plus two more modes for Triangle or stepped Square wave modulation. You then have the option to morph these waves with a 3-way Shape toggle. Plus, a look inside reveals two DIP switches to better match the filter section to your rig with a Resonance boost and a high cut for warmer filtering into your amp.
