This video records the steps I took to prepare an old Rose of Sharon Bush into material for a future bonsai. This is not a bonsai workshop video. Video also shows what happen to the plant 2 month later. It was alot of work, but hopefully this plant will turn out to be a good candidate for a bonsai, many years down the road. I believe the formal name for this plant is the Hibiscus syriacus, or Althea. **Note: there is now a Part II update video of this plant, 11 month after.
