About Dr. Joy Brooke Fairfield: Dr. Joy Brooke Fairfield is a director, performance scholar, and intimacy educator whose work explores queer intimacy, consent, and performance. They are an Associate Professor and Chair of Media Studies at Rhodes College and a guiding faculty member with Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE).
