This Muslim minority, persecuted in Burma, suffered the worst atrocities against its population at the hands of the junta in 2017. The UN has described these atrocities as genocide. Facing the junta, armed groups claim to defend the Rohingya cause. But in the refugee camps, violence has exploded in recent months between two of these groups, the RSO and the ARSA, and the Rohingya find themselves trapped in the middle of this fratricidal conflict, which has caused the deaths of 150 civilians in the past two years.
