How Yuji TRULY Became “The Strongest”

The Strongest Sorcerer in History ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ My Twitter~   / tylearn_   ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Yuji Itadori. It's been a while since I talked about JJK, but with a sequel/spinoff releasing, along with seeing a debate pop up here and there regarding my goat, today I wanted to look at the main character of Jujutsu Kaisen and see how powerful he actually was throughout the entire series. Today, we will not only be answering questions like, " Is Yuji a special grade? but we will also be breaking down his stats and where he scales to across anime. Tho ima let yall know rn I am not going to be sitting here and going “in chapter 1 he moves faster than a car”. That's a lot of unnecessary yapping, and if you're a regular on the channel, you know I like to not waste time. So I'll give a brief summary on the goat for those of you who aren't all that caught up on JJK. Yuji Itadori is a 15-year-old boy who sadly had to witness his grandpa, who is his only caretaker, pass away. Before dying, he’d tell Yuji not to end up like him, and before he goes, he should die being surrounded by others. After this point, he’d go on to save his friends from a freaky curse that they accidentally attracted. And after learning that the finger had a chance of giving him the strength to save his friends, he gambles restlessly, SAY THAT AGAIN-, and ends up as the vessel of the strongest being in the verse. Yeah.. Yuji pretty much put himself in a position where he either dies now or consumes all of Sukuna's fingers and then dies. This leads to Yuji, of course, who becomes a jujutsu sorcerer and learns the basics of cursed energy. We see early on that Itadori himself possesses incredible physical strength and rapid growth during battle. In the short time span he was a sorcerer, he somehow ended up being comparable to a top-tier Grade 1 Sorcerer like Nanami. He could even fight early disaster curses like Mahito. Someone who definitely should be far greater than the likes of the first finger bearer, whom Yuji previously struggled with pretty badly. Even if you don't believe that Yuji, when he fought Mahito, could beat that Finger Bearer, the one by the Goodwill arc, most certainly can. Even before encountering Todo, Megumi states that Yuji, in terms of pure physicality, would come out on top in a brawl between anyone in goodwill at the time. This is impressive, as Maki is pretty much the most physically dominant sorcerer we see in Tokyo High, as that's kinda her whole thing. Megumi had even brawled with Todo earlier, who may be even stronger than Maki physically. He’d then meet Todo, who’d help Yuji grow exponentially, going from below Todo using his cursed energy by a decent margin to now kinda fighting on par with him. And thanks to Todo, he’d learn to awaken what is basically the flow state technique in JJK, also known as Black Flash. Even when comparing Base Yuji’s raw strength and speed, we know characters like Maki are not only catching bullets at point-blank range, but we also see weaker characters like Mechamaru with his blasts being able to produce much more energy than it would take to blow away an entire city block. Yuji, by the end of season 1, is a combatant that should be more than capable of moving at those Subsonic to Transonic ranges. And the reason I think Yuji's speed here is a little lower than you’d expect and that is purely because of Shibuya. Before we get into that, though, it should be noted that Todo does state Jujutsu Sorcerers naturally grow with battles regardless of the outcome. The reason this is important is that throughout most of the series, at least, Yuji does typically grow either during or after a fight. We see this with Mahito and Hanami, where, even though he lost those encounters, he still got a lot stronger because of it. And during Shibuya, we see Yuji popping off. We see that Itadori going into the arc is stated base to base to be equal to Nanami in AP. And we see Yuji managing to block blows from Sukuna and his gauntlets, even withstanding attacks from Sukuna as well, showing that they are much more durable than Yuji himself. We see him being physically inferior to Ishigori, who, mind you, didn’t even get cleaved the same way Yuji did when he tried approaching Sukuna. Ryu is more durable than the other two, but Yuji would physically be much closer to Ryu than Yuta and Rika. At the very worst, they’re relative, with Yuta having the technique and range advantage. By this point, we can’t say bro isn’t a special grade-level fighter yet. Kenjaku may have said you need to be able to wipe out a nation, and Yuji is just a one-on-one type of fighter. However, he scales to characters who have the measures to qualify for a special grade. This man can run a gauntlet on a nation himself and come out on top. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ #jujutsukaisen #jjk #yujiitadori
