A MASSIVE & EXPLOSIVE Thunderstorm in Ashford, (Inc: Fork Lightning, Loud Thunder & more), 27/6/26

Late night and overnight Thunderstorm in Ashford, Kent, recorded from around 23:00 (26th June) and 04:30 (27th June). After a very hot heatwave across Kent with some temperatures reaching 35-40 degrees, a massive Thunderstorm was expected and focasted from the North of France. The first lightning strike was detected around 22:45 and was in Lewes (East Sussex) which was visible from Ashford knowing it’s almost 50 miles away! This storm has to the biggest I’ve seen at Ashford, with a mega light show, torrential rain and hail and very loud crashing thunder (which i didnt fet on camera but my house was shaking after a building getting struck) Timestamps: 0:00 distant Lightning 2:13 Thunder starts kick in with more visible lightning 3:15 Thunderstorm: Fork Lightning, Loud Thunder + Rain 7:17 Outro Socials Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/charliethetr...
