Top Down Lighting Your Wood Burner Explained
When you light up your log burner, do you get too much smoke in the room? Well maybe you're lighting your fire the WRONG WAY. In this video Pete Hillier explains why he encourages his customers to use the 'Top Down Lighting' technique to get your fire going more quickly, but without smoking out the room. "When you have cold days and there's a big temperature difference outside, you could be lighting your stove and smoke will be spilling out into the room...It's caused by a couple of things - It's either damp wood or the flue is extremely cold" Watch the video for more advice and information.
